All The Bitter
New Orleans Bitters
Add intrigue and dimension to your cocktails by seasoning your base with bitters to create something unique. The founders of All The Bitter know their seasoning too! They met at the French Laundry, one of the premier three Michelin Star restaurants in Napa Valley, CA, where they worked as sommeliers—so they know their stuff!
The New Orleans Style bitters are their non-alcoholic take on Peychaud's bitters. In case you haven't heard of them, Peychaud's bitters were originally created around 1830 in a Creole apothecary from the colony of St. Dominique (now Haiti) who settled in New Orleans, Louisiana. Peychaud's bitters typically have a strong flavor of anise and mint.
These types of bitters are typically used in the Sazerac cocktail, complementing the warming cognac and already anise forward absinthe.
